Rosie Michelle

A licensed tattoo artist specializing in American traditional imagery represented with a broad color palette. Her tattoo design process to application is derived from her experience as a graphite and watercolor illustrator and influenced by her appreciation for formal art practices.

Rosie achieved her B.A in Fine Art from Bethel University in Minneapolis, Mn in 2012. She continued to create sculptural and large-scale installation pieces throughout Minneapolis and St Paul including the acceptance as a featured sculptural artist at the Southern Theatre in Minneapolis. Her Solo Exhibition “Ring Finger” explored observed feminity with its expression and impression on traditional relationship roles. She has held various leadership roles in the arts community such as Exhibitions Director for Altered Esthetics as well as studio assistant for artists working in glass, mosaic, tile and glaze, sculpture and paint amount others. In 2017 she launched “The Rendered Home”, a design studio for illustrations of homes and properties in graphite and watercolor a in St. Paul, MN.

Her work as a tattoo artist is the realization and culmination of her studies exceeding the past ten years. She completed 2 years of tattoo apprenticing and mentorships in both Minnesota and Oregon before being licensed in 2020. She is currently tattooing in Columbia, TN and is honored and humbled by her clients and the community that allows her to continue to create.
